Parts of the faster flowing upper reaches of the Broadland rivers hold excellent stocks of Chub. These somewhat elusive species require a quite approach as they can be residing just under your feet in a deeply scoured bank.
Fishing usually requires baiting several swims and rotating them on a regular basis. In the colder months Chub can be a sound target species for the roving angler.
